Geomorphological parameters are determining and influencing factors on the quality of water resources, especially surface waters, such as rivers and lakes. The chemical quality of water can be affected by the lithology of the formations in the catchment area, the type of sediments transported to the river and ecological factors, such as human activities, agricultural, industrial and urban activities, the combination of which is examined under the title of ecogeomorphology. In this research, the effect of the parameters affecting the chemical quality of the water of Elshtar River in two stations of Dare Teng and Sarab Said Ali stations, as well as the effect of the change of season on the water quality of this river, has been investigated. In this research, a laboratory-analytical method was used, and the materials used were water samples collected during twelve months from two points of Tang Valley and Sarab Sayed Ali (water year 1391-1392) in Al-Shatter watershed, as well as 1/100,000 maps. Geology and 1.25000 topography of the region. The results of the research showed that the variety of geological formations, such as calcareous and erodible formations in this basin and the role of runoff in the creation and transfer of various sediments to Elshtar River, have affected the water of the river, but its quality has not been unfavorable. The results of the one-way variance analysis also showed that the change of season has an effect on the pollution level of sodium, magnesium, nitrate and nitrite parameters and there is a significant difference at the 5% level, and in other parameters, the change of season has no effect on the pollution level of Al-Shatar River. it shows.
