Scientific criticism and structural-functional analysis

Abstract

The structural-functional scanning approach as a new framework in the studies of spatial systems, especially the accommodation system and its developments, was presented by the author in 2010. Since then, this approach has been more or less welcomed both in scientific-research circles and in executive institutions. Although there have been criticisms about it. The motivation of writing this article was actually to deal with the content of one of these criticisms and to explain some principles of criticism; Although its audience is not necessarily a critical person, but the scientific community of the country, especially students and researchers who are interested in more criticism and possibly the application of this approach in advancing their research.
