Abstract

Continuous measurement and evaluation of changes and social consequences resulting from huge industrial activities such as oil and gas in its surrounding population centers, especially in developing countries, is an inevitable necessity in reducing negative social consequences as obstacles in realizing social stability and security. These are the activities. Because the influx of job-seeking men from different places, with different characteristics, can become a factor in the occurrence of social problems in the destination in addition to providing the required manpower. This article has evaluated the social effects of the industrial activities of South Pars in Jamghiti centers of Assalouye district with a descriptive-analytical method. In this regard, available official data and data collected in the field have also been used. The sample population was 200 heads of households. In order to draw better conclusions, the factor analysis method has been used to combine the desired variables. The results of the research in the descriptive stage show the impact of the arrival of the immigrant population on the drastic changes in the demographic characteristics of this sector. But a more detailed investigation based on the relationship and correlation between the studied indicators shows that the changes in demographic characteristics were not within the limits of the social stability factor, contrary to expectations. Considering the importance of these industries, the main proposal of this article emphasizes the necessity of continuous and accurate analysis of demographic-social changes in order to measure and control the negative consequences of the development of these industries in future planning and decisions.
