Many habitable places are exposed to natural hazards. It is worth considering that natural hazards cannot be eliminated, but this phenomenon should be managed with mitigation measures or the resilience of societies against these types of hazards should be improved. Reviewing the background of the studies shows that the improvement of residents' resilience against natural disasters is influenced by social, economic, environmental and managerial factors. The main purpose of this article is to investigate the mentioned structures in the two flood basins of Kileh Tankabon spring and Sardabroud Kalardasht. The methodology of the article is quantitative in terms of practical purpose and in terms of implementation method, but in order to achieve a more accurate result, using composite indicators and in the form of a questionnaire, the views of the selected residents in the two studied basins have been measured. Questionnaire information was processed using SPSS statistical software and based on the purpose, several tests were used. The findings of the research show that the individual, socio-cultural factors and the competence of the communities along with the infrastructural factors are in a good condition. At the same time, the results of the path analysis also show that managerial-institutional factors (0.936) and then individual factors (0.619) have the greatest impact on promoting and improving the resilience of the residents of Namakabroud and Sardabroud basins.
