Abstract

Health and medical service centers are one of the most important urban uses that are directly involved in providing the
health of the individual and society. Fast, timely and cheap access to these centers is extremely important in every society,
especially in urban societies. In this research, how to distribute the services of health centers and hospitals in Firozabad
using geographic information system, urban standards and influential indicators, has been analyzed and evaluated, and while
drawing the current situation, how it should be improved by locating new health centers and hospitals has been presented.

Considering criteria such as being located in the vicinity of suitable uses, distance from industrial workshops, proximity
to main roads, proximity to urban green spaces, proximity to urban centers, distance from other health centers and being
located on a suitable slope, the optimal location of this The uses were determined and explained. In order to achieve this
goal, first the spatial data was collected, then a database was formed, and the required maps were prepared, and each of the
criteria was converted into an information layer in GIS. Then, each of the layers of information was allocated according to
the level of importance they have in the location of health centers, using the appropriate AHP model, and finally, using
the results of the integration of the layers of information, the lands of Firozabad city were divided.


he results of the findings indicate that the city of Firozabad does not have a proper distribution of health care centers,
then the selected places were compared with the land use map of Firozabad city and appropriate places were determined for
new health care uses.
