One of the physical dimensions of the effectiveness of credit is rural housing, which has been carried out by the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation since 2004. In this framework, since 2004, the Housing Foundation has built 200,000 residential units in the villages of the country, in order to renovate and improve rural housing, using the internal credits and resources of banks and under the conditions of good loans. Social and economic dimensions have also brought a series of effects. According to the available statistics, in Kurdistan province, 21,312 applicants have successfully signed contracts and 18,000 of them have started construction. Currently, a total of 1,823 rural residential units are under construction in Saqez city, of which 1,400 units have been completed and the rest are on the agenda. Therefore, in the framework of functionalism theory, while expressing the views related to credits in general and rural microcredits in particular, through field and library studies, the process of handing over these credits has been examined, and besides this issue, the answer is satisfactory. Answering the question of whether the granting of microcredits has been effective in the improvement of rural housing? has been presented. The results of the study in relation to the study area show the effectiveness of the granted credits in the improvement of rural housing in the study area.
