The link between tourism and agricultural activities in the direction of environmental sustainability, with emphasis on the attitudes of local communities

Abstract

Today, tourism activities in rural areas are simply interpreted as sightseeing in nature, and no purposeful laws and programs have been defined in order to be able to form a specific type of tourism according to the existing capacities in different rural areas. This weakness in laws can cause irreparable damage to sensitive and fragile environments and challenge rural areas. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to study the existing capacities in villages and planning for tourism, especially in the agricultural sector, which includes the main employment of local communities, and the correct use of these resources will bring environmental sustainability. In this research, the studied area is the villages of the Tiram River basin (Shirud River), located in Tankabon city, which has many capacities related to the agricultural sector and has also attracted the attention of many tourists, both daily and second home tourists. Is. The research method is practical in terms of purpose and based on descriptive-analytical nature. The statistical population of the research is made up of farmers from 7 selected villages in the Tiram river basin in the central part of Tankabon city. The selection criteria of the villages was based on the estimation method and based on the knowledge of the researcher, and the Cochran method was used to select the research sample population (farmers). The required information has been prepared using a questionnaire and the results show that the components of farmers' attachment and participation are in a favorable condition, while the management and planning component is in an unfavorable condition.
