The purpose of this article is the factors of improving social security from the point of view of the villagers of the city. In the first stage, factors to improve social security in the study area were identified from the point of view of local elites using semi-structured interviews. To achieve this goal, separate interviews were conducted with 35 residents of the study area who had university education with at least a post-graduate degree. In the second stage of the research, in order to identify and analyze the views of rural communities and their theoretical agreement with the results of the first stage, the 31 identified causes were used as the basis for designing a questionnaire using the Likert method. It should be noted that the statistical population studied in this research includes all villagers over 15 years of age living in the rural areas of Meshgin Shahr (N=90359), of which 383 people were selected as a statistical sample using Cochran's formula. The face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. The guide study was conducted in the same area of the statistical population with the number of 30 questionnaires and with the data obtained and the use of Cronbach's alpha special formula in SPSS software, the reliability of the different parts of the research questionnaire was obtained from 0.75 to 0.77. A factor analysis model was used to analyze the data and the results of this model showed that the most important factors for improving social security from the point of view of the villagers in the study area include four components (improvement of economic welfare indicators and government intervention, strengthening social capital and cognitive capacities, realization of social justice and adherence to values and place belongings and mental peace) that the amount of variance and cumulative variance explained by these six factors is 61.01. And finally, based on the research results, practical suggestions are provided.
