Abstract

With the construction of the dam, the amount of production, storage and transportation of sediment in the system has changed, which causes changes in erosion and as a result changes in the morphology of the channel in short and long term periods. This also changes the morphological characteristics of the bottom of the bed and the wall, and as a result of the transfer of the amount of water, and of course, the rise and fall of the bed and the expansion of the flooded areas around the river, which can be considered as the result of morphological and morphological changes.
In this regard, the available documentary sources, sampling of bed sediments (30 sediment samples) and their grain measurement and microscopy tests, maps, computer software and especially field surveys have been used and the survey results are presented in the form of mathematical relations. became
The results show that with the construction of the Minab dam and the change in the water regime of the river, it has led to many changes in the state of sediment in terms of type and quantity. These changes have changed the erosive performance of the Minab River and the result has been the morphological transformation of the river (longitudinal and transverse dimensions, pattern and plan of the river).
