Participation and voluntary activities of individuals in various affairs, especially in support and poverty alleviation, has always been a part of human activities. An issue that provides stability and the maintenance of social order and cohesion and, consequently, social regulation. One way of social participation is the endowment that social groups, including women with different motives, undertake. The purpose of this study is to investigate how women in Tehran participate in social affairs through waqf in the Qajar and Pahlavi periods. The research method is documentary-descriptive. The statistical population of all women is aware of the city of Tehran in the studied periods, whose information is available. Endowment information of endowed women in Tehran has been collected from reliable sources and analyzed using statistical methods and AHP model. Findings show that women in Tehran, by having the right to own their property and financial independence, have been able to participate in social affairs according to their orientation. Although in both periods, religious endowment had a higher status than other goals, in the Qajar period, part of the development of Tehran was achieved by endowment. The type of endowed places is closely related to the social class of the endowed. Therefore, since most of the women in Tehran during the Qajar period were mainly from the aristocracy and nobility, most of their endowments are shops with a tendency to shop, which in the Pahlavi period changed from the middle class to residential with a tendency to go home. has done.
