In this research, Ostadsarai neighborhood of Rasht city has been analyzed from the point of view of physical indicators. In order to collect the required data for the research, information sources have been examined and studied. The main part of the research data in order to analyze the feeling of security in the physical environment of the city within the framework of the defined indicators, was done through observation and field observations in the neighborhood of Ostadsara. The purpose of this research is to analyze the security hierarchy of the old and new fabric of Ostad Sarai neighborhood in Rasht from the point of view of physical indicators. The method of this research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of nature and methodology. In order to analyze and check the security in Rasht city, a set of indicators have been used that somehow depict the physical characteristics and design of the neighborhoods. These indicators include: the quality of roads, vegetation, building quality, lighting, urban furniture, texture compactness and finally, whether the space is open or closed. In order to analyze and explain security in the physical space, a scale of 0 and 1 has been used.
