Banking spaces and financial and credit institutions are among the most important uses in the city, which have a significant role in increasing the provision of financial resources and the economic power of the city and its citizens. Therefore, considering the special role of this use and the supply of financial services to citizens, which has a significant impact on optimal urban management, a suitable framework should be provided in order to select suitable geographical areas for banking units and their distribution in the city. Nowadays, choosing the optimal area for creating a land use in a certain geographical area is one of the important stages of an executive project, the complexity of urban issues has caused many variables to influence the location of land uses, which can be analyzed using traditional methods such as manual mapping of maps. It is not possible due to the large amount of data.This article tries to select the optimal areas of banking and financial units by using powerful tools such as geographic information system (Gis), which has always been of interest to the planners and economic development workers of the country, to find the best places in the three areas of Rasht city in terms of accessibility. Asan and other criteria have been considered and identified in order to rely on this powerful system (Gis) to prevent the concentration of bank units in certain parts of the city and to move towards sustainable development in relation to the fair distribution of bank units in different areas of the city. took action
