Using the descriptive-analytical method, this article examines the effects of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on the Shiites of Pakistan based on diffusion theory. The results of the research show that the effects of the Iranian revolution on the Shiites of Pakistan were influenced by the characteristics of the source of broadcasting (Iran) and the destination of broadcasting (Pakistan), and it was also affected by the neighborhood effect and more by the type of contagious broadcasting. Iran's revolution has been accompanied by opportunities and challenges for the Shiites of Pakistan. The Iranian Revolution brought about the revival of the political-social and political life and organization of the Shiites of Pakistan, which in the form of self-awareness, identity search, and strengthening the religious behavior of the Shiites; the growth of political demands; Institutionalization and the formation of political organizations and parties and the role of Shiites in the country's politics appeared. But on the other hand, the operation of diffusion barriers, which included a range of internal, regional and extra-regional forces, caused a new wave of anti-Shia violence in Pakistan, which continues until now.
