Explaining the geography of creative and highly skilled human capital as a driving engine for the regional development of Iran's provinces
The 21st century is the century of cities, ideas and creativity. Human creativity and his talent are considered as creative human capital, the main driver of economic, social and cultural development, and the increasing competition of cities, regions and countries will increasingly depend on its cultivation, preservation and attraction. Currently, there is an increasing competition between cities, regions and countries to attract talents and creative and highly skilled people. It is obvious that places that can cultivate, maintain and attract this creative class will have the upper hand in future competitiveness and will bring economic growth and prosperity and development to their city and region in general. The purpose of this research is to explain the geography of creative and highly skilled occupations in the provinces of Iran and its effects. This research is an explanatory research that was conducted using structural equation modeling in PLS. Our findings show the growing concentration and diverse geography of creative capital in Iran's provinces. The findings also show the role of location-based factors in the distribution of creative and highly skilled human capital. Tolerance and diversity; Talent and consumer service aminites are the most important factors that explain the distribution of creative capital in Iran. In addition to these findings, we came to the conclusion that creative capital has a positive and significant effect on economic and technological performance of cites and regions and causes economic prosperity and development of cities and regions.
