Nowadays, due to the change of views on the category of tourism, especially rural tourism, attention to the economic dimensions of tourism has increased more than ever. The spontaneous growth of tourism in rural areas has had a great impact on the economy of rural communities in recent years. This article seeks to investigate the role of tourism in the employment of the villages of Firuzkoh city.
In order to clarify the issue under research, eight villages from the villages of this city have been purposefully selected. In order to collect information, documentary and field methods were used, and therefore, after formulating the theoretical framework of the research, field operations were conducted by completing the questionnaire of the local community and experts. To analyze the data using SPSS software and perform t-test, Lone ANOVA and Walsh test, the variables of the research have been compared in all the surveyed villages. The reliability of the measurement tool was calculated using Cronbach's alpha method and the reliability coefficient was 0.9. The validity of the questionnaires is also confirmed based on previous studies and experts' opinions. The results of the research show that tourism in the villages of Jalizjand, Badroud, Khamdeh and Mazdaran can have an effective role in increasing employment in the village, and in the villages of Harande, Lazor, Tares and Simindasht, tourism has not played an effective role in increasing employment, and also the most employment generation In Khamdeh village and the least job creation is related to Simindasht village, in Khamdeh village which has the most job creation, job creation in the field of supply and sale of agricultural and garden products, renting houses, villas or suites, providing services to tourists, supply and sale Livestock products and finally, the sale of handicrafts. In addition, more than 60% of respondents stated that businesses created are run by indigenous people.
