Making rural areas livable, in addition to improving the quality of livelihood of villagers, will have a positive and favorable reflection in relation to neighboring countries. In this regard, the current research has been conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of border markets on the livability of the environmental and physical space in Dezli and Khaomirabad districts in the west of Kurdistan province. The research method is descriptive and analytical. Data collection has been done using documentary and field sources based on questionnaires and interviews. The statistical population of this research consists of 4032 households, based on the corrected formula of Cochran, 260 households were selected as the sample size. Sampling was done by stratified sampling method and data analysis was done using SPSS software. The findings of the research indicate that the establishment of border markets has had a positive and significant impact on the environmental and physical dimensions of the studied villages compared to the period before the establishment. Also, the effect of Bazarche Merzi has had a greater impact on the index of village houses and the value of agricultural land.
