A phenomenon related to the destruction and destruction of agricultural lands and the scattered and isolated growth of residential constructions and other non-agricultural uses in agricultural and garden lands, so that the size of agricultural and garden lands in villages has been significantly reduced over time. . This article seeks to identify and analyze the consequences of rural creep on the extent and intensity of land use change in rural settlements around Hamedan city during a 20-year period (1374-1394). The scope of the research includes 24 large rural settlements within 10 kilometers of Hamedan city with a total population of about 67 thousand people (average rural population of 2800 people) in an agricultural and garden area. The research method was descriptive and analytical, using questionnaires, conducting interviews, several field visits, comparing GIS maps of 1374 and 1394, and their spatial analysis.
